2019 SECOND SEMESTER EXAM SCHEDULE
Semester Exams
Students in good standing will have the option of not taking the second semester final exams. Final exams will not be comprehensive, but will consist of a test or class activity (determined by the teacher and approved by the principal) during a 90 minute block schedule over two days. Students will be considered in good standing if they have an average of 85% or above in all classes and no more than 3 days absent for first semester and no more than 3 days absent for second semester. Each student is allowed two additional days for doctor appointments a school year. All school sponsored activities are excused absences and do not count toward a student’s total absences. Seventh and eighth grade students will not take semester tests or final exams.
Students in grades 7-8 will not take comprehensive semester tests. Their “tests” will be quizzes or chapter tests which will be given on Wednesday May 15th. The last day of school for Jr. High will be Thursday May 16th.
