24th Annual Fun Celebration
Title I
Wednesday, May 1st
Dear Parents and Students,
Finally winter weather is over and we deserve to have some fun! Title I will be having the annual end of the year celebration a little differently than in the past. This spring we will be celebrating with the Title I students right after school. We are asking that parents and other family members arrive at 5:00 for a hot dog feed.
Here are the plans:
Weather permitting, right after school Mrs. Seifert and I will walk the Title I students to the park for some games. If it is indoor weather we will be in the Battle Creek Public Elementary Gym. Please make sure your child is dressed for sporting activities including foot wear and layers. If parents would like to attend this portion of the celebration you are more than welcome. We will be meeting at the Public School in the multipurpose room right after school dismisses. St. John’s students will be walked over to the public school; permission slips must be signed and turned in in order for students to attend.
At five o’clock parents and family are invited to attend an end of year picnic in the Elementary Multi-purpose Room. At least one of the parent must attend the feed with your child, we encourage you come as a family. Your child (attending Title I class) will receive a new book to read this summer after dinner and then you will be free to go home. All activities will be completed by 6:00 o’clock.
So please mark your calendar and plan to attend the Twenty-Fourth Annual Fun Celebration on Wednesday, May 1st games will be right after school and the hot dog feed will begin at 5:00 pm in the Multi-Purpose room of Battle Creek Public School.
We would like to have an accurate count of people attending so we have enough food and books. Please fill out the attendance sheet and return it to school by Wednesday April 24th. Thank you for supporting your children in their reading endeavors and we are looking forward to visiting with you on Wednesday, May 1st.
