It was another record-breaking day for Bravette sophomore Renee Brummels who once again bettered her mark in the triple jump at the Northeast Nebraska Track and Field Classic held at Norfolk High School on Thursday, April 25. It was just three weeks prior that Brummels set a new school record, increasing her mark by over a foot. At Thursday’s Classic, she moved her mark ahead from 36’ 11.5” to 38’ 7”. Her leap was good enough for not only a new Battle Creek school record, but she also set a new stadium record at Norfolk High as well as a new Northeast Nebraska Track and Field Classic record.
