Congrats to freshmen Paytyn Taake and Landon Olson who were selected by their coaches as 2019 Newcomers of the Year for Battle Creek Athletics. This honor is given to any three sport athlete in good standing with either contribution at the varsity or junior varsity level. Paytyn competes in volleyball, basketball and track, while Landon competes in football, basketball, and track.
Paytyn is the daughter of Brian and Wendy Taake, and Landon is the son of Scott and Beth Olson.
