One Week
One week before Christmas and all through the room
There’s vigorous work as final tests loom
One week remains, stay focused you say?
More excitement from kids? Only in May
High School or Grade School, no difference it makes
Adults too dream of long winter breaks
Before we shut down and everyone leaves
We have one more week to roll up our sleeves
So pick up that pencil, pen, or login
The last week of work is about to begin
Five more days of focus and grit
Followed by fun and gifts to get
So keep the focus, continue to learn
Two weeks of break is what we’ll earn
Together we do this, everyone’s best
So we may enjoy some Holiday rest
