Choir Travels to Albion for Boone Central Choral Clinic

On Monday, January 13th, 13 members of the Battle Creek Senior High Choir took a trip to Albion for the 75th Annual Boone Central Choral Clinic. Seventeen schools attended, totalling 277 students. The students kicked off the morning at 10:30 and spent the day learning and perfecting 5 songs with guest clinician Dr. Kurt von Kampen, the choral conductor at Concordia University in Seward. 

The students finished the day with a 5:30 pm concert in which they performed God is our Refuge by Allen Pote, Song for the Mira as arranged by Stuart Calvert, Bashana Haba’ah by John Leavitt, The Cloths of Heaven, by Z. Randall Stroope, and Battle Hymn of the Republic as arranged by Roy Ringwald. Individual schools also had the opportunity to perform during the concert.

The choir will be performing once again on April 7th for their Pre-District Concert.
