Happy Friday Everyone!

"Lou Holtz said, "Don't complain.  Eighty percent of the people you complain to don't care and 20 percent are glad you have problems" ~Jon Gordon.  Now, I have also seen this quote from Lou Holtz - "Never tell your problems to anyone...20% don't care and the other 80% are glad you have them."  Regardless of which quote is 100% accurate, they both are basically saying the same thing.  Complaining does not do you or those around you any good.  Constant complaining makes you less desirable to be around, will intensify irritability, and can stifle success.   Lucky for us, we are not surrounded by complainers.  We have an abundance of forward thinking problem solvers around here, and that is the way we like it, and the way we want to keep it.  "Successful people will always tell you you CAN do something.  It's the people who have never accomplished anything who will always discourage you from trying to achieve excellent things." ~ Lou Holtz.  Complaining is an easy way to voice your opinion about something without offering any type of solution.  It is also very unproductive.  "Complaining is like vomiting.  Afterwards you feel better but everyone around you feels sick." ~ Jon Gordon.  Everyone complains once in a while, but those who find themselves in a constant state of complaint can NOT be thinking about solutions or creating what they want because they are focused solely on the problem.  We often talk about the morale of our workplace or classroom.  Usually we refer to the morale as being undesirable or low.  The culprit behind our perceived low morale is most likely complaining.  The best part about this whole message...YOU ARE IN CONTROL ALL OF IT.  You have control over complaining vs. finding solutions, seeing the negative vs. the positive, and choosing your morale or allowing others to make it for you.  The choice is yours!

Happy Friday!!
