Luke Richard Stueve

Luke Richard Stueve, son of Barry and Jodi Stueve, attended preschool through second grade at St. John’s Lutheran School before transferring to Battle Creek Public Schools in the third grade. He is a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Battle Creek.

Luke was active in football, basketball, and golf during all four years of high school. He lettered three times in football, two times in basketball and all four seasons in golf. He served as a captain for football this past fall.

For his efforts on the gridiron, Luke was named to the All-State squad following both his junior and senior seasons, making the first team list this past fall. He has been chosen to play in both the Shrine Bowl and the Northeast Nebraska All Star Classic this summer.

Besides athletics, Luke has participated in one act play production at BCHS.

Outside of school, Luke enjoys hanging out with his friends, playing video games, and can often be found on the greens with his golf clubs.

Luke’s favorite memory of his time at  Battle Creek High School was during his sophomore year when Mr. Tucker Tejkl and Mr. Trevor Anderson performed during an end of school assembly. He listed Mr. Tejkl as his favorite instructor, saying, “He was an outstanding teacher and coach.” Luke listed science as his favorite subject.

Luke plans to attend Wayne State College to study either education or wildlife management. He will play football for the Wildcats.

Best wishes, Luke!
