Lydia Juline Roskeland, daughter of Roni Hauser and Eric and Angela Roskeland, attended preschool through first grade at St. John’s Lutheran School. In second grade, she transferred to Battle Creek Public Schools where she has been ever since. She is a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.
Lydia participated in track during her freshman and sophomore years and was a member of the volleyball squad during all four years of high school. Lydia listed that her favorite memory of her time at BCHS was making it to state in volleyball.
For her efforts in the classroom, Lydia has been on the A honor roll or the A honorable mention honor roll during all of high school.
When asked to name her favorite staff member, Lydia named Mrs. Stephanie Nelson, saying “Art class has always been my favorite. Mrs. Nelson is a very good and fun teacher.”
After graduation, Lydia plans to attend Northeast Community College for two years and then hopes to transfer to Wayne State College to study pre-pharmacy.
