Charlie Benjamin Simons, son of Charlie Simons, attended Battle Creek Elementary before coming to Battle Creek High in seventh grade.
During high school, Charlie was involved in cross country for one season, wrestling and mock trial for two, and art for three years. Charlie earned perfect attendance as a junior.
Outside of school, Charlie enjoys spending time with friends and family. He has worked at Gutter, Fence, and Insulation Pro for over three years and at Clausen Air as an intern for one year.
When asked to name his a favorite staff member, Charlie named Mr. Mike Couch. He said he enjoys how Mr. Couch “lights the mood with humor” during classes. Charlie named history as his favorite subject. He said he also enjoyed Mr. Taylor Baumert’s class this year and wished he could have had him as a teacher sooner.
After graduation, Charlie plans to attend Northeast Community College to Bstudy in the HVAC program.
