Hannah Marie Maslonka, daughter of Kevin and Deanna Maslonka, attended preschool at Woodland Park Elementary in Norfolk before coming to the Battle Creek Public Schools.
Hannah was active in one act play production, mock trial, and band during all four years of high school. In addition, she is a three year member of the speech team and a two year member of choir. She has served as the band president and treasurer as well as the choir treasurer. During her junior year, she was selected by her instructors as Student of the Month.
Outside of school, Hannah enjoys playing her instruments, reading, and spending time with family and friends. She also works part time at JCPenney.
When asked to name a favorite teacher, Hannah listed Mrs. Connie Lade, stating, “She is my favorite teacher because she always pushes me to do my best.” Hannah also listed band and choir as her favorite classes during the day. Hannah mentioned that playing pep band will always be some of her fondest memories from her time at BCHS.
After high school, Hannah plans to attend Northeast Community College to study audio recording technology.
