Britney Sue Kreikemeier

Britney Sue Kreikemeier, daughter of Neil and Amy Kreikmeier, attended Battle Creek Public Schools for all thirteen years of her education. She is an active member of St.Patrick's Catholic Church. 

Britney participated in band, volleyball, and speech during all four years of high school. In band, she is a four year Mid-State Conference Honor Band participant, and she was chosen for the Class C All State Symphonic Band as a sophomore. After her junior year of band, she was chosen as the Band Student of the Year. 

Britney participated in track, one act play production, and cheerleading for three seasons. As a junior, she served as captain of the cheer squad. In addition, she served as a Trailblazer and was involved in FCCLA and National Honor Society for two years. She was a member of the mock trial team for one season. For her efforts in the weight room, Britney is a two time recipient of the Weightlifter of the Year award. She was a Girls State Alternate in 2019 and is currently third in her class.

Outside of school, Britney is very active in 4H. She served as the 4-H Young Achievers President and on the 4H Council during the past two years. In addition, she has been a JC Camp counselor for the past three years. 

In her free time, Britney likes to scrapbook and make crafts, and she enjoys reading, camping, and fishing. She also works at Menards, a position she has held for the past two years. 

When asked to name a favorite teacher, Britney listed Mrs. LeAnn Frauendorfer, stating, “She cares and listens to her students when they need someone to talk to.” Briney listed her favorite class as Foods and Nutrition. 

After high school, Britney plans to attend Northeast Community College and then later Wayne State College. She plans to study secondary education to become a Family and Consumer Science teacher.
