Stacey Marie Frisch

Stacey Marie Frisch, daughter of Allan and Evelyn Frisch, attended District 48: Good Cheer for kindergarten before going to St. Leonard’s Catholic School in Madison for grades one through six. She came to the Battle Creek Public Schools in seventh grade. She is a member of St. Leonard’s Catholic Church in Madison.

Stacey participated in dance, student council, speech, and one act play production during all four years of high school. She served this past school year as the secretary and treasurer for Battle Creek Speech and Drama and served last year as the Student Council Vice President before taking over the Presidency as a senior. She was a three year member of the volleyball squad and quiz bowl team, and a one year participant in track and field as well as FCCLA. In addition, Stacey has served as a Trailblazer for the past two years and is a member of the National Honor Society, where she currently serves as president.  

A natural leader, Stacey served as class president during her freshman and sophomore years and class treasurer during her junior year. She has been on the A Honor Roll throughout high school and was selected by her teachers for Student of the Month honors each year. She currently has the top GPA in the senior class and has finished each school year in that position. She was selected as Art Student of the Month on three occasions, placed second at the NECC Academic Contest as a junior, was a district champion for her FCCLA STAR project and won an Outstanding Performer Award in one act play production.

Outside of school, Stacey is the president of her church youth council and has been involved in 4-H for 10 years. In 4-H, she serves as a youth member of the 4-H Council and has received the 4-H Member of the Year Award and the 4-H Leadership Award. She also works at Dollar General in Battle Creek as a sales associate.

Stacey listed her favorite teacher as Mrs. Jenni Frey, stating, “She got me to love learning a whole new language and made it fun. I always looked forward to Spanish class, and I felt like I was always welcome in her classroom.” Stacey listed her favorite class as art. 

Following graduation, Stacey plans to attend Wayne State College to study education.
