Mental Toughness

Happy Friday Everyone!!

We made it to the end of our first full week of 20-21!!!  A big THANK YOU!! goes out to the students, staff, and parents for making the first week successful.  We have changed our daily routines.  We "mask up" when we can't keep a safe social distance.  We wash and sanitize our hands regularly.  We document the cleaning and sanitizing of our facilities.  We have altered some of our normal instruction.  We do what is necessary to keep our students and staff safely in school because our core beliefs remain firm.
We believe -

  • Every student has the ability to learn and succeed.
  • Every student shares a responsibility for his/her own learning.
  • In preparing every student to be a productive citizen.
  • In utilizing differentiated instruction and information technologies to enhance and expand the progressive role of education.
  • In providing a safe and secure environment for every student.
  • An educational process is a partnership between the students, the family, the school, the community, and the world.

When our mental toughness gets challenged and our decisions get scrutinized, we need to rely on our belief statements to reinforce our mental armor.  These beliefs are bound to an unwavering commitment to success for all kids.   This bond is what is going to make the 20-21 school year another great one!

Happy Friday!
