Our home spectators and visitors did a nice job of following the guidelines sent out by Activities Director Wintz at Thursday’s volleyball jamboree vs. David City Aquinas.   In case you missed Mr. Wintz’s post on our website or app, the following is a repeat of that information with some additions:

  • Current directed health measures (effective until August 31, 2020)  allow 50% capacity for indoor events and 70% capacity for outdoor events.  Ticket takers will be notified if we reach capacity and will stop admitting spectators into the event.
  • Spectators are expected to sit with immediate family members and maintain 6ft social distance.  If social distance cannot be maintained, then masks should be worn.
  • Spectators will not be permitted on the floor/field at anytime before, during, or after events.  Please exit the facilities as soon as they are completed.
  • Elementary students are expected to sit with their immediate family during events.
  • If you are feeling ill or have any COVID symptoms, please stay home.

BCPS requests that all spectators attending our events follow these guidelines.  By following these guidelines, we will increase our chances to continue competing throughout the school year.  As you all know, things will continue to change as we progress through the school year.  Flexibility and understanding will continue to be very important.

GO BRAVES & BRAVETTES!!!
