Happy Friday everyone!

It's hard to believe that today marks the end of the first quarter for the 23-24 school year.  I have reminded a number of senior parents to enjoy the year as it will go by in a flash and it seems like I was correct.  Within this fast paced time, I find it imperative to take a few minutes every day to identify at least one thing to be grateful for.  By doing this, I am channeling my focus on something positive which, in turn, makes the less desirable things seem less overwhelming.  In some of my past messages, I have noted the importance of showing gratitude to others and that still is important.  However, it is also healthy to show some self gratitude as well.  This is a great way to build self confidence which will develop extrinsic confidence.  When a person is not used to being confident, confidence feels like arrogance.  Arrogance means you think you are better than everyone else.  Confidence means you are no better than anyone else, but nobody is better than you.  Confidence creates fearlessness.  Arrogance creates recklessness.  Be Confident!

Happy Friday!!
