Happy Friday & Happy New Year Everyone!

Many of us celebrate the new year because it symbolizes a fresh start or new beginning.  It is also another opportunity to get together with family and friends.  For many of us, the beginning of a new year gives us an optimistic look to the next 12 months and all they have to offer or more importantly what we can make of them.  Yes indeed, the new year brings the setting of new goals, a vow to a new year's resolution, or anticipation of the unknown opportunities the future holds.  There are some, however, who bring undesirable events from last year into the new year.  These events can overtake the optimism, reserve the resolutions, and obstruct the opportunities of the future.  These last year undesirable events, however, are significant to the success in a new year because these events, though undesirable, provide the opportunity for learning and growth.  The key is to take the learning and growth and let go of the rest.  As we begin 2020, let's love the learning, gain from the growth, rise to our resolutions, go after our goals with grit, and operate with optimism.  It will be the best year yet!

Happy Friday!
