Battle Creek Public Schools

On Wednesday, February 3, 2020, eight Battle Creek Students traveled to Wayne State College to compete in the District 8 STAR competition. Competing in Focus on Children was Kaylee Osborne and Payton Kersten, the two received gold medals and were District Champions. Alexis Anderson competed in Fashion Construction and received a silver medal. Haley Hrabanek competed in Focus on Children and received a Gold Medal and was District Runner Up. Becca Arkfeld was Runner up with a silver medal in National Programs in Action. Megan Lutt was Distict Champion with Gold for Say Yes to FCS. Stacey Frisch received a Gold Medal and District Champion in Repurpose and Redesign. In Entrepreneurship, Breanna Borchers was District Champion with a Silver Medal. All Runner Up and Champions will go on to compete in the State competition in April in Downtown Lincoln.
