Melicha (May) Tiana-Lee Herber, daughter of Kiersta and Mike Herber, attended several schools in Oklahoma before moving to Nebraska and joining Battle Creek High School as a ninth grader.
May participated in basketball, speech and track for one season. She has been a member of the yearbook staff for two years.
When asked to name a favorite subject, May stated, “I enjoy English the most because I like having a good book to read and being able to picture everything in my personal view.”
When she isn’t at school, May enjoys hanging out with friends, riding dirtbikes, staying active, and cooking.
May plans to attend Northeast Community College and would like to study psychology.
