Battle Creek Public Schools’ buildings will remain closed to students for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year. Students will be expected to continue engaging in the learning activities provided by their teachers every week. A final date for providing these learning opportunities will be determined and communicated at a later date. This decision is based on recommendations from ELVPHD and Dr. Blomstedt, Nebraska’s Commissioner of Education. I know this creates even more uncertainty concerning the end of the year events like graduation. New information will be shared as we continue working through this unprecedented time in history. We need to be supportive of each other now more than ever. Please continue to communicate with teachers and administrators whenever questions arise. We will do our very best to find answers to them.
