I am happy to announce that construction is starting on the $7.9 million dollars worth of projects the voters approved in March of 2022. Hausmann Construction is currently setting up safety and security fencing for areas needed for construction and materials.
The south side of the elementary is completely fenced off. Just like road construction, our construction will create some inconveniences and delays in what we are used to. However, these issues will be well worth it when we see, feel and use the final products.
Hausmann will also be temporarily fencing off part of the northeast gravel parking lot at the high school. The plan is to start digging footings for the elementary entrance/office addition and footings for the Ag/FFA addition at the high school. The new post tension track is scheduled to be built this summer. Periodic updates will be posted throughout the construction projects.
