ANNOUNCEMENTS
Congrats to the Bravette track team for finishing as the Mid-States Conference Runner-Up at the Conference meet last Saturday. Individual winners include: Sophine Humphrey in the Long Jump and 100 Hurdles. Sophie’s 100 Hurdle time broke the Conference Meet record. Mya Zohner won the Pole Vault, and also extended her school record in that event.
Senior Trailblazers- Mr. Heimes needs 1 of you to present the character awards at the Junior High banquet on Tuesday, May 16th at 12:30. Contact Mr. Heimes if you are able to do it.
Kids that have to take semesters tests have been updated and posted on the office window.
Today is the last day for titles to be turned in to Miss McConnell for the April Reading Challenge.
Congratulations to Molly Heimes, the April library birthday prize winner. Molly, see Miss McConnell for your prize. Students and staff with May birthdays should pick up your birthday duck and become registered for the monthly prize.
8th Grade and 7th Grade Choir students, please report to Ms. Robinson’s room after announcements.
The Junior-Senior Barbeque will be Monday, May 1. The Student Council will be serving all Juniors and Seniors pizza, chips, and desserts. The meal will be served at the football field as long as the weather holds out.
There will be a short junior high and high school cross country meeting in Coach Heng’s room Monday morning during homeroom for anyone thinking about cross country next year. Please plan on attending as summer plans will be discussed.
9-12 students needing school community service hours: Miss McConnell has several end-of-the-year tasks to complete at both the elementary and secondary libraries. See her if you are interested as dates and times are flexible.
Seniors- don't forget to let Mrs. Thompson know about any scholarship awards that you receive.
