Happy Friday everyone.
Every spring we release our senior students out into the world. We recognize this release with our traditional graduation ceremony with awards and accolades, songs and speeches, & happiness and handshakes. Graduation is the first major milestone our students reach in their young lives. For 12+ years we have created a timeline of learning opportunities to prepare them for this moment. There is one thing I want our soon to be graduates to know and it is also a great reminder for the rest of us. The timeline ends when you graduate from high school. You are never behind in life. There is no timeline that we all must follow. There is no way every person can do things in the exact same way within the exact same time frame. Never beat yourself up for wherever you are in life. It is your schedule and everything is right on time. Here is an early congratulations for the Battle Creek High School Class of 2023. Congrats to those who have received acceptance to their dream school. Congrats to those who are selecting a community college or trade school. Congrats to those who have or are joining the military. Congrats to those who are taking a gap year. Congrats to those who are joining the workforce. Congrats to those who have no idea what they are doing next. There is no one path to doing life and you are all right where you should be!
