Happy last Friday of 22-23 everyone!
In my 25+ years in education, every school year is filled with highs and lows. Every school year presents a unique set of challenges and changes. I can honestly say that no school year is ever exactly the same. If anyone in the education business expects each school year to be exactly the same, they are going to be very disappointed. It is the growth, development, and changes that make each school year so special. Seeing students grow physically and mentally is one of the greatest joys. Helping students overcome adversity and further develop their self management skills is a big part of what we do. Pushing ourselves and our students to be the best version of themselves so we can all realize the potential that lies within us is the majority of our "why". We get into this business called education because we are lifelong learners and want to pass on this love for learning to the next generation. We are in the people business and offer our best to the students we serve. This service is intensive and exhilarating but also mentally and physically taxing for both students and staff members. This is why we have summer. A time to re-energize our physical and mental well being so we can do it all over again in August. At that time we will begin a new school year filled with yet another unique set of opportunities, challenges, and changes.
