Famous author, F. Scott Fitzgerald, stated the following on life:
"For what it's worth, it's never too late, or in my case too early, to be whatever you want to be. There's no time limit. Start whenever you want. You can change or stay the same. There are no rules to this thing. We can make the best or the worst of it. I hope you see things that startle you. I hope you feel things you never felt before. I hope you meet people who have a different point of view. I hope you live a life you're proud of, and if you're not, I hope you have the courage to start all over again."
School is not "life" but this message is relevant to "school life". Every year we have the opportunity to change or stay the same. Staying the same is safest, but it also creates a stagnant state of satisfaction. Choosing to cherish the opportunities that challenge us creates an environment of excitement, a culture of curiosity, and an appetite to achieve. If each individual strives to improve by 1% each day, there is no limit to what can be accomplished! It doesn't matter where you are starting from, strive to be 1% better today than you were yesterday!
