BCHS Welcomes Students Back for 2019-2020 School Year

Battle Creek High School kicked off the new school year on Thursday, August 15 with 22 more students than last school year. In 2018-2019, the high school had 213 students when classes ended in May. When the doors opened on Thursday, a total of 235 young learners in grades 7-12 reported. The freshman class increased the most with a total of 55 students.

In addition to all the new young people in the building, the high school also welcomed two new instructors - Mr. Taylor Baumert and Mrs. Seth Montag - and one new para, Mr. Mark Keith.

The district is certainly growing. In fact, the elementary building's numbers are up as well with each grade (except 6th) having two classes of learners.

The staff wishes to welcome everyone back as we kick off a great school year!
