Happy Friday everyone!
Together we’re all striving to make our lives better. Whether it's improving our health, athletic skills, musical talents, communication, or learning ability, we actively seek out opportunities to grow. We build connections with colleagues/classmates, form study groups, join teams, and rely on collaboration, creativity, technology, and conversation to reach our potential.
But among all these tools and resources, our most valuable resource is time.
Unlike other resources, time is finite. We can’t make more of it. What we can do is choose how we spend it. We may not control how much time we get, but we absolutely control how we use it.
We have the power to make the most of our time—in the classroom, with friends, with teammates, with family, and even in moments alone. That means resisting the urge to waste time on distractions like gossip, complaining, or conflict, and instead using it to uplift ourselves and those around us.
Time is precious. Use it to build relationships, spark new friendships, offer help, and fuel passion, motivation, and purpose. Even though we sometimes give control of our time to others—through schedules, commitments, and responsibilities—we always have control over our presence.
Being fully present in each moment allows us to get the most from our time and to give the most to those we share it with.
The way we value our time is reflected in how fully we show up for it.
Happy Friday!!
