Happy Friday everyone!

According to a quick Google search, 85% of the jobs that will exist in 2030 haven’t even been invented yet. That stat comes from a 2017 report by Dell Technologies and the Institute for the Future—and it really puts things into perspective. It’s a big reminder of why schools need to focus more on building skills than just memorizing facts.

The most important skill? Literacy. Being able to read and truly understand is the foundation for all learning, which is why we’ve poured so much time, energy, and resources into helping every student become a confident reader.

But it doesn’t stop there. We work hard to build a growth mindset—where effort matters, students learn to speak up for themselves, and challenges are seen as opportunities. We’re creating a space where it’s safe to take risks and learn from mistakes.

That said, safe doesn’t always mean comfortable. In fact, comfort is the enemy of growth. No one grows by staying in the easy zone. Courage isn’t built by avoiding fear—it’s built by pushing through it. Feeling uncomfortable doesn’t mean you’re doing something wrong—it means you’re making progress.

So let’s not back away from discomfort. Let’s lean into it. That’s how we help our students grow into the thinkers, creators, and problem-solvers the future needs.

Happy Friday!
