Happy Friday, everyone!

This past Monday, October 6th, was National Coaches Day — a special day established by President Richard Nixon in 1972 to honor coaches at every level for their dedication, passion, and the lasting impact they have on their players and teams.

A coach isn’t just someone on the sidelines—they’re leaders who instruct, train, and guide individuals and groups toward their best selves. In that sense, everyone in education is a coach in their own right. We inspire, motivate, and mentor our students to work hard and reach their full potential.

Here at BC, our coaches go the extra mile, teaching discipline, teamwork, and resilience—not just in classrooms, but on the fields, stages, mats, and courts. Whether it’s developing literacy skills or perfecting lateral moves, our coaches are committed to excellence and to our kids.

Here’s to celebrating all the incredible coaches who shape minds, build character, and ignite passion every day!

Happy Friday!
