Happy last Friday for the 25-26 school year everyone!
Tomorrow, we will send our senior class out into the world. We mark that moment with our graduation ceremony—filled with awards and recognition, music and speeches, and plenty of smiles and handshakes. Graduation is one of the first major milestones in our students’ lives, the result of 12+ years of learning, growth, and preparation.
As the Class of 2026 approaches this moment, there’s one message worth sharing—not just for our graduates, but for all of us: the timeline you’ve followed through school ends at graduation. From here on, there is no single path and no universal schedule. You are never “behind” in life. Each person’s journey unfolds differently, and that’s exactly how it’s meant to be. Don’t measure your progress against someone else’s. Wherever you are, you are right on time.
Congratulations to the Battle Creek High School Class of 2026! Congratulations to those heading to their dream colleges, those choosing community colleges or trade schools, those stepping up to serve in the military, those taking a gap year, those entering the workforce, and those still figuring out what comes next. Every path is valid, and every one of you is exactly where you need to be.
Happy Friday!
