The leaves are turning, days are getting shorter, and the temperature is cooling. Before too long, winter weather will be here. All weather related announcements/cancellations will be made through our website and app as well as on our district Facebook and Twitter. Announcing a late start or cancelling a day of school is not an easy decision. I communicate with the National Weather Service, area farmers, our transportation director, and neighboring superintendents before making a final decision. I will do my best to make this decision as early as possible and no later than 6:00 AM. Parents/guardians please remember that you can choose to keep your kid(s) home if you believe the weather is not safe for them to attend school. I hope mother nature will make these upcoming decisions easy, but I know that will not be the case.
