Molly Sue Heimes, daughter of Jeff and Jenny Heimes, attended Battle Creek Public Schools for all thirteen years of her education. She is an active member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Battle Creek and received the St. Patrick’s Serving Award. Molly was involved in golf during all four years of high school. She served as the team’s captain this past fall and led the Bravettes in individual scoring. She qualified for the state golf meet three times and finished in 30th place as a senior. Molly was named Most Valuable Player in 2023. Over the summer, Molly competed in the Northeast Junior Golf Tournament held at Nofolk Country Club where she was named Player of the Year, a feat which provided her with a 2024 membership. Aside from the greens, Molly was also active in track and field for two seasons, and she served as a trailblazer for two years. She has been involved in the Teammates program for seven years. For her efforts in the classroom, Molly was on the honor roll throughout high school. She was selected as Character Student of the Month and as Student of the Month on three occasions. Outside of school, Molly enjoys golfing and shopping in Omaha with friends and family. She has been employed for two years at Hy-Vee West as a cashier. Molly listed Mrs. Connie Lade as her favorite staff member stating, “She is always happy, and she sometimes rubs off on me.” When asked to name her favorite subject, Molly mentioned English IV because it is a small group and they have good class discussions. Molly’s favorite memory of her time at BCHS was the state golf tournament in 2023 because of the memories she shared with her coach and teammates. After graduation, Molly will attend Wayne State College to study criminal justice. She plans to use that degree to become a probation officer.
