Dual Wrestling State Championship Schedule for Saturday. Good luck boys!

The January Student of the Month at Battle Creek Elementary was Lydia Freudenburg. She is an excellent leader within her classroom, as well as the school in general. She does a great job using the ‘Ready to Learn’ strategies while their teacher is teaching and Lydia also works to hold her classmates accountable, as well, in a respectful way. Lydia is someone that can always be counted on to do the right thing and she represents the purple and gold of Battle Creek well no matter where she is at or what she is doing.
The Class of the Month for January was Miss Hasebroock’s 1st Grade Class. As Class of the Month, they don’t do anything out of the ordinary, but they do the ordinary things (like meeting our expectations) in an extraordinary way each day. They are goal driven and they used their ‘Ready to Learn’ strategies really well during the month of January. As 1st Graders, they are developing great leadership skills and work to hold each other accountable for their actions and their academics.
Pictured below are our January Student of the Month (Lydia Freudenburg), our January Class of the Month (Miss Hasebroock’s 1st Grade Class), and our January Student of the Month Nominations.

After learning about cake decorating basics, the Intro to Foods class was excited to be able to practice their new found skills!
