The Student of the Month for December was Harlee Weidner. Harlee sets an excellent example for all our students at Battle Creek Elementary, even though she is just a kindergartner. She comes to school ready to learn and has a fantastic attitude at all times. She also works really hard to meet and exceed all of our expectations. The Class of the Month for December was once again Mrs. Mettler's First Grade Class. They constantly are striving to be better than they were the day before and are going to be tough to beat as Class of the Month in the future. Also pictured are all of our nominees for Student of the Month.

Our Battle Creek Elementary Art student of the month was Lenyx Jessen and our two Art classes of the month were Miss Hasebroock's 1st Grade and Mrs. Krueger's 2nd Grade! Also pictured are the nominations for Art student of the month.

On January 5th, Battle Creek Elementary had their monthly celebration for December, as well as their monthly mission for January. The mission for January is to 'Hold Each Other Accountable for Our School-wide Expectations of Being Safe, Being Respectful, and Being Responsible'. Pictured are our December birthdays, as well as the winners for Brownies and Ice Cream, Class Extra Recess or Computer Time, and Lunch With the Principal.

Varsity basketball vs. Crofton on January 6th will be broadcasted on 97.5 KEXL starting at 6:00pm.
