Back to School Open House Information, as well as the August Calendar, Weekly Update, and Bus Request Form.

Parents / Guardians are welcome and encouraged to attend a 20-25 minute presentation on Scooter and Bike Safety / Crosswalk Usage put on by the Battle Creek Police Department on Thursday, August 14th, beginning at 11:30am in the Elementary Gymnasium. Students will be dismissed once the presentation is complete.

Please look through the attached documents (August 11-15 Weekly Update, August Calendar, Bus Request Form, and Open House Flyer) and call the office with any questions. If you plan to ride the bus during the 2025-26 school year, you need to complete the bus request form prior to the first day of school.

The BC Athletic Boosters would like to invite our parents and the community to the Booster Club Fall Sports Kickoff on Tuesday, August 26th. Coaches and teams will be introduced, and we'll have a special presentation from the Nebraska Coaches Association!

Please bring Gatorade to the Football Gatorade Scrimmage

The Gatorade collected will be used to support the football players throughout the season. Thank you for your support!

It's officially the week of the 3rd and final BCHS One Act Summer Workshop!

Join us at noon Wednesday in the *High School Multi-Purpose Building* for the first chance to officially work with our script for the season!

Don't miss out! And remember, even if you still aren't sure about one act or haven't been to the other workshops, you're still welcome to join us!

These fine young boys + girls were involved in D League BB skill sessions this past July. It takes a tremendous amount of time + dedication to be successful at BB, and this group put in the time it takes to get better. Thank you to Paige Erickson and Tiffany Arens for organizing!

We will be hosting our Elementary Open House on Tuesday, August 12th, from 5:00pm - 6:30pm. Kindergarten parents / guardians need to attend either the 5:00pm meeting or 6:00pm meeting regarding information about the school and Kindergarten.

If you are wanting to be part of the bus route(s) this year, you need to complete the form attached below and turn it in to the Elementary Office.

It was great to see Jaxon Kilmurry back on the court again, last night, in Lincoln at the Nebraska Coaches Association All Star game. He represented BC Basketball well.

Jaxon Kilmury was selected as one of the top 24 senior basketball players in the state of NE. He will be playing in the NCA All-Star game this eve (July 23) at Lincoln North Star. Game begins at 8pm following 6pm girls gm. It will be televised on PBS-Nebraska Public Media Network

Reminder to incoming Kindergarten, 7th grade, and student athletes. Physical forms need to be turned into the office by the first day of school.
Kindergarten and 7th graders will also need to turn in a copy of their updated immunizations. Contact Mrs. Wintz with any questions.
