The High School Construction class will be building some sheds this spring. Depending on the type of siding, a 10' x 12' shed with a 6' wide roll-up door will be approximately $3,000.00 or less. We can custom build to meet your needs and set it up on your property. Money raised by these projects will be used to provide scholarships to students going into the building trades, tools for the Construction class, and/or funds to help with a class trip to a construction trade show. Let me know if you are interested, or know someone who might be.

Our January Student(s) of the Month were Ali Korth and Madison Ricchio. This month, it was honestly too tough to choose between Madison and Ali because they both are not only constantly doing the right thing, but they are also choosing to go above and beyond when it comes to leading by example, holding other students accountable, and simply exceeding every expectation we have at Battle Creek Elementary. Both Ali and Madison truly earned their spot as Student(s) of the Month. Not to mention, Madison is our first repeat winner as Student of the Month. Also pictured below are all our nominees for Student of the Month, which is a huge honor in itself.
Our Class of the Month for January was Mrs. Tillotson's 2nd Grade Class (pictured below). The Class of the Month for January has steadily improved throughout the year and they stepped it up a notch during the past month. They are helpful to each other in the classroom, they work hard together to follow all of our school-wide expectations, and they are often heard encouraging members of their class that may be struggling or just needing a little extra support.
Our mission for the month of February is to improve by at least 1% each day and to set goals in order to measure our growth. Those improvements could be academically, behaviorally, athletically, or even in simply being a better friend.

Our January Monthly Mission Assembly was held on January 31st, with several people being mentioned and honored. Pictured below are the winners of Brownies and Ice Cream, Class Extra Recess or Computer Time, and Lunch With the Principal. We also celebrated our January Birthdays, which are pictured below, as well.
