The Junior High XC team competed very well today at the Nebraska Cross Country State Championship. Today, there was 267 runners from class A, B, C, and D. Out of the best junior high runners in this state, the BC boys finished:

All-School pep rally was a special moment today at Battle Creek.
Congratulations to Afftynn Stusse on her run yesterday at the Mid-State Conference meet in Crofton. Afftynn broke the 20:00 mark in the ladies 5K, something no other female runner has ever done at Battle Creek. Afftynn finished in 4th place with a time of 19:59.

The Battle Creek Cross Country teams competed very hard today at the Mid State Conference meet in Crofton!
On the guysโ side Marshall and Hunter K both ran personal best times even through the 30 mph wind gusts.
On the womenโs side, Battle Creek took home the runner up plaque, squeezing past Wayne for the first time this year. Individual medalists for the girls include:

Conference XC will be on as scheduled tomorrow with a location change: location is now Weigand, part of Lewis and Clark State Rec Area. You will need a NE park permit or will be charged $6 entry fee. Plan accordingly.
Bravette volleyball improves to 1-0 this week with a conference victory over GACC 3-0.

Great toughness by the junior high football team. 7th grade wins 12-0 and 8th grade wins 42-6.
