Due to inclement weather, Day 1 of the Class C Boys Golf Championship in Kearney has been cancelled.
The Championship will now be an 18-hole event tomorrow - Wednesday, May 22nd. Tee times & pairings will remain the same.

On Friday Makenna Taake won the long jump, Saturday Renee Brummels won the triple jump. This gave BC 2 event champions during the 2019 state track meet. Renee’s effort was good enough for 7th in all classes.
The 4x100 relay team of Shelby Obst, Paytyn, Madi, and Makenna Taake had 3 fantastic hand-offs which was good enough for 8th place. BriAnna Zohner and Renee Brummels finished 6th & 7th respectively in 100 hurdles.
Results from the Bravette Track team from Saturday’s efforts. Abby Meinke placed 8th in the shot put. She improved her prelim throw in the finals moving up one place for 8th.
Landon Olson placed fifth in the high jump (6’2) and Zach Zohner placed fourth in the pole vault. Zach cleared 14-04 which broke the school record that was held by dad Kevin.
Yesterday was a good start for the Bravettes, @makenna_taake was the LJ 🥇, @renee_brummels was 4th. @renee_brummels & B Zohner are in finals of 100 hurdles. Another busy day as we start day 2 with more chances for🏅. Weather could be ☔️ Currently in 5th as team.
Algebra 1 students were asked to create a game involving and incorporating topics from the second semester for their semester project. This group went above and beyond to create this game in only 90 minutes. Nice work ladies!!
