Battle Creek 7th graders are at the YMCA today for Blaze Day. We are blessed to have some great Junior and Senior Trailblazers leading our day. #buildingpositiveschoolculture
Kacie Mae Wiehn, daughter of Keli and Keith Wiehn, attended Battle Creek Public Schools for all thirteen years of her education.
Kacie has been a member of the yearbook staff over the past two years, and she also ran cross country as a senior. When asked to name a fondest memory from her time in high school, Kacie mentioned that she will always be glad that she competed in cross country because it was fun and she is proud of having tried something new.
When asked to list a favorite teacher at BCHS, Kacie listed two: Mrs. Rebecca Anderson and Mrs. Bri O’Brien. Kacie noted that both are kind, understanding, and fun to talk to. She added that they have been her biggest supporters.
Outside of school, Kacie enjoys roller skating, baking, nature photography, and nail art. In addition, she works part time at Goody’s Grille, a job she has held for three years. She also worked at In His Arms Daycare over the summer.
After graduation, Kacie plans to attend Metro Community College in Omaha. She will study the culinary arts with an emphasis in baking and pastries.
