BC Speech had another great day of competition today at Creighton HS! We love what we do! Districts here we come! Pre-district night is Sunday, March 10 at 6pm. We'd love to have spectators on our last run-through before districts on the 11th!!

Battle Creek Elementary School has some absolute rockstars when it comes to reading. Those students were honored yesterday at our monthly assembly with certificates for the 'word clubs' they had earned so far this year. Students in 3rd through 6th grade earn their way into word clubs by having 500,000 words read, 750,000 words read, 1,000,000 words read, etc.
Students pictured below have earned their way into the 500,000 Word Club (Sadie C., Lydia F., Eva G., Henry R., Beckett U., Gannon O., Annalee N., Braelyn B., Grace M., Joshua O., Gracelynn P., Grace S., Maddox E., Claire M., Grant M., Kylee H., Hudson S., Harper F., Lily G., Easton O., and James R.), 750,000 Word Club (Maddox E., Claire M., Grant M., Kylee H., Hudson S., Harper F., Lily G., Easton O., and James R.), 1,000,000 Word Club (Hudson S., Harper F., Lily G., Easton O., and James R.), and we even had one student (James R.) read his way into the 2,000,000 Word Club!
