A few representatives from our Battle Creek FCCLA chapter, Jaiden Ertzner and Alaina Rogat, had the incredible honor of attending Commissioners Recognition at the Nebraska State Capitol today. They accepted recognition on behalf of our entire chapter for our commitment to the Stand Up national program and for earning 2nd place at Nationals with our Pink Out project.
Governor Pillen and Commissioner of Education Dr. Maher were in attendance to personally congratulate students and shake their hands, making the experience even more meaningful. We are very proud of the dedication, leadership, and heart our FCCLA members continue to display.

Thank you to Norfolk Fire and Rescue for partnering with our two Battle Creek seniors this semester. They’re not only learning about fire and rescue—they’re surrounded by great role models. We appreciate the entire staff for sharing your time and talents.

Today, Battle Creek Ag students traveled to Omaha to present the innovative work they’ve been doing in their program. They shared their projects with superintendents and school leaders from across the state, giving a firsthand look at the creative technologies and hands-on learning happening in our ag classrooms. Our students represented Battle Creek proudly and showcased the exciting direction our program is heading!

Battle Creek Public Schools would like to take a moment to thank our incredible subs who step in, adapt on the fly, and keep our classrooms running smoothly. Your patience, flexibility, and willingness to show up make a bigger difference than you know. We appreciate you today and every day!
