Battle Creek Elementary is proud to recognize our Student of the Month, Class of the Month, and Student of the Month Nominations. The Student of the Month for the Month of March was Lenyx Jessen! Lenxy does the right thing all the time, in all areas of the school. Mrs. Taake noted that she follows expectations, she helps others, and she always comes to school with a smile on her face. Lenyx is trustworthy and ‘Controls What She Can Control’ at all times. Lenyx is regularly heard holding her classmates accountable for our school-wide expectations in a polite and respectful way. Our Class of the Month for March was Mrs. Sheppard's Fourth Grade Class! This class has steadily worked to improve and become their very best each and every month. It hasn’t always been easy, and it’s taken a lot of effort, but they’ve worked hard to become the class they are and I am very proud of what I was able to witness during the month of March. Mrs. Sheppard's Fourth Grade Class is composed of many individuals that all come together to meet the expectations by holding each other accountable in a respectful and productive way.
