Project Ideas for "Save Me A Seat"
Students could bring a drawing or poster to school during this week. These will be displayed in the Multi-Purpose Room. Be sure to spend time on the project make them neat, detailed, and interesting. Remember these represent your family.

Ch. 32 Joe is feeling rotten becasue Dillion took his blue M&M out of his dish. It makes me angry. Ch. 33 I think Ravi may be able to help. He has something from Ms. Frost's room.
Ch. 29 Ravi's mother brings him to school becasue he has a cold and he has his project. Ch. 30 Amma surprises Ravi when she gives him an option to either eat his cold lunch or try the cheese pizza.
Ch. 28. The quote is "Writing can change the world". Joe now understands the meaning because his father wrote him a heartfelt note and Joe feels the love. Ch 29 Kan drishti means the evil eye. Why is it always the grandmother that has the evil eye.
Ch.27. Perimma wants to know about the cartoon in the book bag and the bruises. Amma also wants the truth. Perimma feels useless and unwelcome in America and thinks Ravi is embarrassed by her.
Ch. 26. Joe's parents now know: Joe hates that kids and teachers think he is not samrt. He hates being afraid to raise his hand inclass to answer questions. He hates being the tallest in his class. Most of all he hates Dillion Samreen.

Chapter 24. Finally Ravi has an understanding of what kind of person he is up against. He is discouraged and ready to quit. Live is not easy when you have to deal with mean people, daily.
