Molly Sue Heimes, daughter of Jeff and Jenny Heimes, attended Battle Creek Public Schools for all thirteen years of her education. She is an active member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Battle Creek and received the St. Patrick’s Serving Award. Molly was involved in golf during all four years of high school. She served as the team’s captain this past fall and led the Bravettes in individual scoring. She qualified for the state golf meet three times and finished in 30th place as a senior. Molly was named Most Valuable Player in 2023. Over the summer, Molly competed in the Northeast Junior Golf Tournament held at Nofolk Country Club where she was named Player of the Year, a feat which provided her with a 2024 membership. Aside from the greens, Molly was also active in track and field for two seasons, and she served as a trailblazer for two years. She has been involved in the Teammates program for seven years. For her efforts in the classroom, Molly was on the honor roll throughout high school. She was selected as Character Student of the Month and as Student of the Month on three occasions. Outside of school, Molly enjoys golfing and shopping in Omaha with friends and family. She has been employed for two years at Hy-Vee West as a cashier. Molly listed Mrs. Connie Lade as her favorite staff member stating, “She is always happy, and she sometimes rubs off on me.” When asked to name her favorite subject, Molly mentioned English IV because it is a small group and they have good class discussions. Molly’s favorite memory of her time at BCHS was the state golf tournament in 2023 because of the memories she shared with her coach and teammates. After graduation, Molly will attend Wayne State College to study criminal justice. She plans to use that degree to become a probation officer.

Drevin Laurence Dieter, son of Shayla and Robert Dieter, attended Saint Paul’s Lutheran School before entering high school at Lutheran High Northeast in Norfolk. Drevin transferred to Battle Creek High School as a sophomore. Drevin was active in football for one season. He listed his favorite teacher as Mr. Mike Couch, stating, “He is super chill and not strict about every little thing.” He also listed his favorite class as building construction. Drevin enjoys this class because he gets to learn about and build useful things. He listed his favorite memory during his time at BCHS as the Burning of the BC, stating, “It gets your spirit up.” Outside of school, Drevin enjoys playing video games. He also likes to drive 4-wheelers and raise animals. Following graduation, Drevin plans to enter the workforce.

Wyatt John Baumann, son of Sarah and Jeff Baumann, attended Jefferson Elementary School in Norfolk before coming to Battle Creek Public Schools in sixth grade. When asked to name a favorite staff member at BCHS, Wyatt mentioned Mrs. Robbie Trudeau because “she was a lot of fun.” He listed his favorite class as math as he loves to solve problems. Wyatt mentioned that his fondest memory from his time in high school was prom last year. Outside of school, Wyatt greatly enjoys playing video games. After graduation, Wyatt plans to attend Northeast Community College.

Ayden Eli Frances Tannehill came to Battle Creek Public Schools as an eighth grader. He has been active in one act play production for three years. Outside of school, Eli enjoys reading and playing video games. He listed his favorite staff member as Mr. Junior Aguilar, stating, “His teaching feels more like a conversation rather than a traditional lecture.” Eli also named anatomy as his favorite class because it is adequately challenging and intriguing while not feeling like a hassle. When asked to name a favorite memory from his time at BCHS, Eli stated that he will always remember when he had to dissect cats in anatomy. He mentioned, “It was super cool to see all the muscles.” He also thought it was hilarious seeing people's faces when he talked about it. At this time, Eli is undecided about his future after graduation.

Elizabeth Louise Weed, daughter of Kelly and Darrell Weed, has attended Battle Creek Public Schools for all thirteen years of her education. Lizzie was active in track for one year. She also participated in band, speech, art, one act play production, and student council during high school. In addition, she served as a trailblazer and was named Student of the Month. For her efforts in one act play production, she received the Best Underclassmen Actress Award. Outside of school, Lizzie enjoys playing softball, and she has held a part time job at Dollar General for the past year. When asked to name a favorite staff member, Lizzie listed three: Mrs. Rebecca Anderson, Mrs. Brianna O’Brien, and Mrs. Stephanie Nelson. She mentioned that Mrs. Nelson makes art class fun and that she gets to be herself in class. After graduation, Lizzie plans to attend Northeast Community College. Her goal is to publish a book before she is 21.

Lane Gregory Fickler, son of Michaelle and Gregory Fickler, attended Battle Creek Public Schools for all thirteen years of his education. Lane listed his favorite staff members as Mrs. Janet Miller and Mrs. Kim Easland, stating, “I like working on the Chromebook with Mrs. Miller, and I enjoy working on my speech with Mrs. Easland.” Lane added that he likes all of his classes and learning new things. In his freetime, Lane enjoys painting, doing crafts, playing games, and watching videos and movies. He also has a snowglobe collection. Lane loves spending time with his family and with his dog and cat. He also likes to grow pumpkins and flowers in his garden. After graduation, Lane plans to work from home while helping his family. He mentioned that he greatly enjoys living in the country.

Cameron Homer Allen Korth, son of Tara Buell-Korth and Chad Korth, attended Christ Lutheran School before coming to Battle Creek Public Schools in the third grade. He is a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Battle Creek. Cameron was active in football, basketball, and track during all four years of high school. As a junior, he was a state medalist in track, claiming hardware in both the 4x400 meter relay and the triple jump. He also received academic all-state honors for his efforts in athletics. Cameron was an All State honorable mention honoree. Aside from sports, Cameron served as a trailblazer for two years, and he is a member of the National Honor Society. Cameron has been selected as Character and Student of the Month on four occasions. For his efforts in school, he was on the A Honor Roll and received an award for perfect attendance. When asked to name a favorite teacher at BCHS, Cameron named Mr. Jonah Heng, stating, “He allowed me to be creative with my own designs and videos.” Cameron listed his favorite class as physics because students find solutions to real world problems. Cameron mentioned that one of his fondest memories from his time in high school is getting fifth place at state in the triple jump. He said, “It showed me that all the hard work I put in paid off.” Outside of school, Cameron enjoys golfing, playing video games, and helping around the farm. After graduation Cameron plans to attend college, but at this time, he is unsure which campus he will take on. While there, he will major in business.

Parker Michael Strom, son of Waylon and Michela Strom, attended Battle Creek Public Schools for all thirteen years of his education. Parker was a three sport athlete, participating in football and basketball for four years and track and field for three seasons. In addition, he golfed one season. Aside from athletics, Parker served as a trailblazer. Parker listed his favorite staff member as Mr. Mike Couch, stating, “He is very enjoyable to be around and quite engaging.” Parker’s favorite class, building construction, is enjoyable because he wants to pursue a career in the industry after high school. For his efforts in and out of the classroom, Parker was presented with the Activities Director Leadership Award, and he was chosen as Character Student of the Month. Outside of school, Parker likes to spend his free time hunting and fishing, especially at his family’s cabin hear Lynch. He also spent much of his free time in high school mowing for Zach Westerman’s mowing business. He also enjoys working on projects that relate to building construction. After graduation, Parker plans to attend Northeast Community College in Norfolk where he will earn an associate’s degree in building construction.
