Ryan Kade Stusse, Jr., son of Ryan and Kalee Stusse, has attended Battle Creek Public Schools for all thirteen years of his education. Ryan was involved in football for three seasons, cross country for one, and wrestling during all four years of high school. For his efforts on the mat, Ryan finished high school as a two-time state champion, and he served as team captain both his junior and senior years. When asked to name a favorite memory from his time at BCHS, Ryan stated that winning the state title with his teammates this past winter will always be remembered fondly. Aside from athletics, Ryan was a member of FFA for three years. When asked to name a favorite instructor at BCHS, Ryan listed Mr. Cody Wintz, stating, “He is funny, and I can talk to him about anything.” Ryan named his favorite class as weights because he didn’t have to do any homework. Outside of school, Ryan works at Cenex Harvest States in Wausa, Nebraska, a job he has held for three years. In his free time, Ryan enjoys working, riding dirt bikes, and working on his truck. Ryan is still unsure about his plans after high school, but he hopes to pursue a career in diversified agriculture or ag business.
